This half day journey packs a lot of action into a short amount of time. With just enough whitewater to wake your senses, this float will take the edge off of your kids’ hyperactivity and make the next leg of your vacation a bit more serene. It might just even remove that old “how many more miles is it?” query from the backseat altogether.

Get checked in at our headquarters in Stanley just 58 swerving-for-scenery-miles north of Sun Valley. It’s a short jaunt to our launch site where you will jump in your boat and dive right in where we put credence to the ironically named, “Piece of Cake” rapid. Between bouts of roiling rapid glory, your expert guide will ramble endlessly on the wildlife, salmon, local lore, geology, and much more. Following your guide’s monologue and your impending nap we wake you up with “Warm Springs Narrows” a ¾ mile long stretch of punchy yet forgiving whitewater which passes singer Carole King’s wilderness ranch. From there on out it is a peaceful float to Torrey’s Hole where we take out and our professional driver ferries you back to HQ in our bus.
